Lots of steps up to a small visitor center where you buy your park pass, speak to rangers, pick up maps and detailed hiking information. Small gift shops and rest rooms. This is a hub for the Island Explorer bus.

Nice place to get started on your visit Acadia. It is smaller, but has enough info to get your trip going. The gift shop is on the smaller side, the one at Jordan pond is much larger. If you're looking for something specific to a...More

We stopped at the Hulls cove visitor center to pickup a carriage road bike map and to get a stamp in my passport. The building is a little small for the number of visitors that must pass through here on a daily basis. The staff...More

The rangers are all friendly and helpful. Gift shop is a little limited. We stopped here to get a motorists guide to the Park Loop Rd and information on the Junior Ranger program which I recommend.

This visitor center appears to be the "main" visitor center of Acadia. It is really pretty small with an information desk, small gift store, and a short welcome video. The area is clean and well-maintained with restrooms and filtered water/water fountains. There is nothing wrong...More

We had traveled several hours to try to get there before the visitor center closed and we made it by about 15 minutes so I was able to buy a lifetime senior pass that I now qualify for, but they also helped me out with...More

A great spot to get information if you are just getting into town. Get a loop map of the Acadia National Park. Around $4 worth every cent for great info through the park

Be aware there are over 50 steps to climb to get to the visitor’s center and I’m not sure about handicap accessibility. I didn't see any ramps. You can buy the park passes here instead of at the entrance gate. There are no freebies here....More
