The convenience store has been taken over by a Korean owner who has no connection to the previous owner.
The previous owner was in poor health and sold the store, but I personally asked about the optional tour via personal email.

Not only was it reassuring, but the price, although slightly higher than during the COVID-19 pandemic, was still very cheap and satisfactory.

As the previous person wrote, the options at the Osaka convenience store are a rip-off. I was able to get in touch with them by inquiring directly via their homepage email.

This place sells all the usual souvenirs and it has a range of beach wear as well. I only popped in for about 10 minutes but left with nothing.

The lady in charge was friendly, and possibly pushed a little too much to make a sale. She didn't seem particularly Japanese, although she could speak the language well.

They were selling some interesting natural herbal remedy which apparently gives you quite a boost when it comes to matters of the bedroom. I believe there were ones for men and women. The shop assistant told us it really did work!

I guess if you are passing it wouldn't be a bad idea to drift in and see if there is something you want, but I definitely wouldn't go out of your way to go there.

Oh, and there's a pet cat next to the door.

I always rent bikes from here. They are mountain bikes and the majority use mountain bike tires which are not all that suitable for roads but i cycle all around the island. The staff are friendly. They seem to be better at Japanese than English but I am sure they will rent out to anyone. They provide helmets too. I only wish they had rear lights. I particularly recommend the Japanese boss.

Firstly I only visited this place because they hired bicycles and I walked from Outrigger hotel to do so (I rang ahead to make sure). After telling the women behind the counter my intention her first words to me were "Are you local?" FYI I am Polynesian who was travelling with my family during that time from Japan. Puzzled I asked her again and her next sentence paraphrased was "How many pounds are you?" We don't rent to people over 160 pounds. Long story made short she eventually but obviously reluctantly rented the bicycle to me because I was not going to leave there. I was determined to continue to have a great time in Guam and was not willing to allow this experience to undermine that. Thankfully the bicycle rented to me for 10USD allowed me to ride a 20km round trip to enjoy the Pacific War Museum in the Hagatna area so it was a win win.

I mean no disrespect to the people running this conveny but they need to understand their actions/words or perhaps even attitudes need to be reviewed so as not to repeat this.

Thanks for hiring the bicycle.

Thank you so much for visiting our store and renting bicycle. Our sincere apology if one of our staff informed you the wrong information. We do not rent bicycle to those who are over 352 pound (or 160kg) because of the safety reasons. She may have mistakenly mentioned "pound" instead of "kg". All comments from our valued customers are very important to us. We listen and try to improve our service based on your opinions. Once again thank you very much for your comments and we look forward to seeing you in Guam in the near future.

Amazing store that not only sells souveniers and food, but offers lasting friendships that lead to repeat visits from customers! When you enter you will be amazed at the lower priced goods as well as optional tours that are well below the prices typically offered to tourists! The reason...the owners do not collect any commission for referring their customers to the optional tours! This helps customers to enjoy their vacation without the high price of tour activities leaving you with money to spend on gifts for family and friends! Very honest and hard working owners who enjoy conversations with their customers and makes you feel welcome, like you are at a home away from home!

Although the store has a sign saying it is run by a Japanese person, the management changed to a Korean person in May 2023.
Optional tours also require a kickback.
It is completely different from before, so please be careful if you use it.
