I love this beach. Even on low tide days there is still water that comes up to the shore that you can wade in. It’s also a great place to watch the sunset, snorkel, and on good weather days Paddle Board. It can get a little busy on the weekends but week days it can feel like you’re at a secluded beach.

I do a lot of running near this beach and always found it to be full of activity and fun. A nice place to sit out in the sand and get your tan on.

We often use Matapang for professional gatherings, reservations are easy and the beach is semi-private.

This is my favorite beach on Tumon Bay to come to for walking on the beach. Great area for family. Fun to watch the canoes if they are out.

The locations is in the heart of Tumon. But I didn't enjoy the fact that it was so crowded and bit dirty.

This is situated near hotels, Matapang beach is a government maintained beach area. The sand and sea are clean however the restroom isn't accessible fortunately there's a shower outside the restroom.

Parking is plentiful and you'll see plenty of locals and tourists in the afternoon. Swimming is free of charge

Great little beach in tumon... you can watch the paddlers practicing from here. When they are not being used the canoes are parked here. Parking is limited but sometimes you may get lucky.

This public beach is so good for picnics, the water is very calm and clear when we got there. fishes are not afraid of people, contrary to the beaches i'm used to back home (philippines). showers and restrooms are available, shady trees don't have fire ants so far.
There are no shops around for food or basic supplies, but you won't really look for those. Which is why it's prolly good to stay until you feel hungry...
I hope the beach is maintained that way for a long time.

Nice small beach, with a few huts that can be reserved. I like to see the canoes/galaides go out from this spot. It has some greenery to sit and relax on. But parking is limited but if you get there early enough, you can get very close to the beach. Good if you are carrying alot of beach toys/food/grill and guests. Great place to see both locals and tourists enjoying the beach.
