Statue of famous historical figure in Guam's history who did much good for the local people during spanish rule. Also the location where a former governor committed suicide after losing a corruption issue.

Eye-catching
Jul 2016 • Family
Situated on the thoroughfare between Tumon and Guam Premier Outlets is a statue of the first Chamorro Archbishop of Guam; Archbishop Felixberto Flores.

This memorial was erected in 1987 (two years after his death), by the Filipino community of Guam who viewed him as a beloved spiritual leader and an inspiring personification of Filipino-Chamorro love and brotherhood.

Getting to the site is somewhat difficult as it is located in the middle of a round-a-bout and there are no crossings. However, it is very eye-catching when you drive by and fun to test your photography skills from the passenger seat.

Good photo opportunity, be careful of traffic!
Jan 2017 • Friends
This monument celebrates Archbishop Felixberto Flores, the first Chamorro Archbishop of Guam. The circle connects Chalan San Antonio with San Vitores Road, and also links with Father Duenas Drive to the Guam Memorial Hospital.

Great for Photos, but be careful of the traffic; there is no standard protection for pedestrians. Traffic moves in a clockwise direction around the circle, and there are no designated pedestrian crosswalks in certain areas.

Center of a traffic circle - dangerous access!
Oct 2016 • Solo
Nice 360 degree painting, but access to this traffic circle is very dangerous. Best viewed from your car when driving around it. For the curious visitor: No, that are not pigeons in the statue's hands, those are little people .... I know, kind of ... strange.
