Chamorro Village is a nice place to visit. Lots of food vendors, great food options at a reasonable price. Parking lot fills up fast. I went there about 6 pm and was lucky to find a parking spot. By 7pm, I noticed there was a line of cars backed up looking for parking. So, if you decide to visit, recommend going there early to find parking.

Arrived in the Chamorro Village around 4:30 Pm. The place wasnt that jampacked. Its your typical Bazaar with people selling anything they can sell at a "reasonable" price (I doubt) I was suppose to try the turkey leg being grilled near the parking lot. But saw a squadron of flies having a feast . So I changed my mind.. By 6PM the place was almost packed. lots of people buying overpriced food. For example : Turon which only costs 5 Philippine Peso. Costs $ 1 . thats 500% more .Lots of vagabonds too trying to blend in with the crowd. But youll know. nothing special. probably wont return to this place. unless someone else invites me

On Wednesday night's you have to make your way out to the capital of Hagatna (Agana) to the Chamorro Village! I highly recommed visiting. Wednesday night is the night market. Lots and lots of local vendors hawking their goods and selling their food! You get a flavor of local Chamorro barbeque with the red rice, keleguen, and other ethnic food infused into the Chamorro diet (from Philippines, Korea, China, Micronesia, etc.). They also have live entertainment, from local bands to local dance troupes performing for you while you meander through the food stalls and craft tables. A brief snapshot of Guam's festive culture immediately dawns on you with this one visit!
If other than a Wednesday night, well, I think you're missing out. The rest of the week is pretty quiet. Although there are local food stalls and shops permanently located there, the fiesta mood is just not there :( It's a wonder why they don't have this night market more than just once a week...

Great night market on Wednesday evenings. Very good food stalls, live music, dancing and much more! The best place to buy those Guam souvenirs. It gets crowded but for anyone visiting Guam for the first time, it's a must see! You'll really enjoy the atmosphere! I promise! Check it out!

Chamorro Village is a must-do on Guam. The outdoor mall is open every day but the main event happens every Wednesday night from 5:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. when tourists and locals gathers for the outdoor market and a multitude of cultural events. The markets are a great way to find inexpensive souvenirs and gifts for everyone on your list. The aroma of fresh local foods can be tempting, so be sure to bring your appetite. Vendors offer great food for even better prices, from $1 for a chicken or pork BBQ stick, $2 for banana lumpia (banana eggrolls drizzled in honey), and if you’re still hungry, plates of food vary from $5-9. If you want dinner and a show, head to the north side of the complex where there are cultural dances reminiscent of Hawaiian Lulus. Admission is free; bring cash, as with most markets, stalls only except cash, however, most of the permanent stores do accept credit cards. A great place to come with the family.

I went there on a Sunday afternoon and there weren't many shops. Many shops were preparing to close and there wasn't much in the area.

Since it's only open on Wednesdays, this is your stop. It is the usual night market selling mostly beach stuffs, souvenirs and mostly things made in China. Nothing really great here except you have to do it to experience The Chamorro village. There are so many food stalls and restaurants here so it's quite hard to try a lot. In general, I liked the Chamorro BBQ and so did my family we enjoyed our time here. 2-3 hours in this place is enough and doing it once will suffice.

We were surprised at how devoid of any atmosphere the village seemed, especially on a Saturday morning. A few shops were open, mainly selling touristy items. On reading Tripadvisor reviews later we realised that it came alive only on Wednesday evenings which isn’t very helpful if you are not in Guam on a Wednesday!

A few BBQ joints, too many flies on the food, then mostly chinese or indinesian cheap junk. We had planned this for weeks and seriously can't even begin to express our disappointment. Total waste of an evening.

Just wondering how to get there from the Santa Fe hotel. Is there a bus? What's the difference between the Wednesday thing and a regular day? It seems like some people say to go Wed for sure, others say to avoid that day.

Wednesday is the big day with multiple craft and food vendors in addition to the regular shops. It is the day to go but it is also very crowded. I’m not sure about the bus as I had a rental car when I was there

地元の人に聞いたところによると、水曜日だけと聞きました。金曜はサイパンのナイトマーケットではないでしょうか?

Hi! The Chamorro village is open by 5 or 6pm every Wednesday. Goin there around 6pm is good because the lines for the food can be very long and more time for you to go around. Hope this helps. Enjoy!

If we don't drive, how do we get to the night market from Tumon and then back again to the hotel in Tumon?

An update on my public transport to the Chamorro Village for Wednesday night market . We bought our tickets round trip for 10 per person at DFS level 3 from the bus service staff. Look for the lift or escalator in the mall to go to level 3. Be there by 545 pm as the first bus leaves at 6 pm then 630 pm and last 7 pm. Coming back we need to wait for the returning bus about 850 pm as there is queue . We enquire taxis is $40 one way from Micronesia Mall.

DFS,GPO,
