10 - 15 minute walk on low tide it depends on your pace. It tools a little longer as we had kids with us. Great for picture taking and drone videos.

Alpat island is cool to visit once. Its very rocky and many tourist with kayak go there and pick up the starfish and try and take them home. Also be aware as I have personally seen stone fish over there so make sure if you go to bring your water shoes.

I used to live by this place and would swim from the shore to the island. It is quite safe and there are Onward lifeguards watching. It is not much of a snorkeling place, but rather a good place to practice long distance swimming. When you get the island there is not much of a beach. But there is a path to the top of the island where you can see a beautiful view Agana Bay.

This island is very small but is an awesome place to snorkel. There are tons of fish, crabs, sea cucumbers, and blue sea stars. The water around the island is only a few feet deep. We even saw a black tip reef shark which was spooked by us and quickly swam away. You can walk through the water of tumon beach to get here.

We stayed at Onward and the island was right in front of the hotel. We went to the island twice - walked there at sunset and kayak at noon. You can do some snorkelling so your way there but watch out not to get too far away from the island as there could be strong current to drag you out to the ocean.

Water is clearer when you get to Alpat island.

I tried swimming out to this island when all the jetskis had been towed in for the night. I made it 3/4 of the way before I started worrying the strong current on the swim back, and swimming in unknown waters by myself. The first 3/4 was a very shallow swim and it is probable that the rest was just as shallow, but I didn't feel like taking the risk. I saw very few fish other than some blue sea stars and a puffer on my way out there.
