Great beach to go to with your family. Not too crowded but very pretty. Water is clear blue almost looks fake. Enjoyed many days there.

Best of both worlds... the kalama beach is best of kailua and lanikai beach. There is a bathroom and rinse area. There is a shady trail leading to the beach. The beach is less crowded than kailua. Small parking lot, but that doesn't mean anything...More

There is limited parking off Kalaheo Ave. for visiting the designated parking at the beach park. From Kalama Beach Park there is a fantastic view of Kailua Beach in all directions.

Can't count on parking here, very limited, but if you can find a spot, or off street its a nice place for a beach visit. They've got restrooms and outdoor shower for rinsing off, and miles of beach to walk. Not overly crowded, even on...More

This beach is far and away my very favorite I have ever been to. It has great boogie boarding waves all year round and the sand is like sugar. There are no rocks or coral so you can play in the waves without worrying about...More
