About
Kahuku Farms is a leading provider of fresh local produce on the North Shore of Oahu. Our specialty is bringing others directly to where their food comes from. We offer tours to illustrate the nurturing of local fruits and vegetables. We tend cacao groves to make our own chocolate, our uniquely Hawaii-grown acai berries are featured in our acai bowls. Our farm-to-table cafe provides the experience of enjoying food that has an immediate connection to the land. We strive to encourage a lifestyle of eating nutritious food, living sustainable ways, supporting local businesses, and spreading aloha.

    The cutest farm tour!
Absolutely loved the Kahuku farm tour! We got to sample fresh fruit including apple bananas, papaya, star fruit and dragon fruit. Our tour guide was knowledgeable and eager to answer all of our kids' questions. We had lunch at the cafe afterwards and had to sample as much as we could from their delicious menu. Highly recommended, and can't wait to come back!

    Lovely farm with great food
We booked a tour at Kahuku, and when we got there we first ate at the cafe. We got the pizza, a wrap, and two smoothies. Everything was fresh and delicious. Then we went on the farm tour and got to see Kahuku's banana fields, eggplant fields, papaya fields, as well as a variety of smaller fields, including one that included acai and lilikoi. We also got to taste the banana, papaya, and chocolate that is grown/made there. It all tasted amazing! Our tour guide was very informative and it was fun learning how farming on Oahu is different from farming on the mainland.

🌺Awesome tour guide, very friendly and knowledgeable. Enjoyed the samples and tour of the farm. The pizza lunch, salad and plantation ice tea were onolious. Learn a few things about plants I never knew.

One of the best tours in Oahu
I‘ve loved the the Kahuku Farm tour. The guide was very nice. She explained everything so well and showed us a lot. I liked that we tried the different kinds of chocolate. We also tried the Açaí Bowl and the garlic bread in the cafe. Both was very delicious. Can highly recommend it.

    Lovely place to visit!
We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Kahuku with our teens, 13 and 16. We did the farm tour, loved sampling the food we were learning about, and our tour guide was wonderful- knowledgeable and entertaining. We loaded up at the gift shop with goodies to take home with us. Definitely recommend a stop here if you’re on the North Shore!

    Great lunch!
Based on the reviews, we made a stop here for lunch and NO REGRETS! The food is fresh, flavourful and eco-friendly. This farm makes a huge effort in recycling and sustainable farming, with displays out front and raised beds of produce. Compared to the rest of the Island, this cafe is worth its weight in gold and the vibe is relaxing, family-friendly, dog-friendly, with volleyball nets and great music to set the mood while sitting outdoors in the breeze, under a canopy. You can sit at tables or picnic on the grass. Limited menu but the food is fantastic! We had the farm pizza with chicken and half veggie panini with the most amazing basalmic dressing with eggplant: SUPERB! Can be a wait during meal times but relax and they'll call out your number. Kind service.
Aloha! Mahalo for taking a chance on our little cafe! We're so happy to read about your experience and how much you enjoyed the special vibe we have out here. We're all about taking in that North Shore breeze, good food, good vibes, and all else that follows along with them! We appreciate your kind words and hope to have you back for another visit in the future :)!

    Wonderful, Informative, Tasty!
Great tour! Our guide was personable, knowledgeable, and able to answer all of our questions. It is so important to appreciate what it takes to grow the food we need to survive and our guide did an excellent job of explaining the entire process. The 1-hour tour flew by. Many types of fruit to sample throughout the tour. Enjoy a smoothy before or after the tour - you won't be sorry!
Aloha! Oh my! What a pleasure to read about your experience on our Farm Tour! We're so happy our guide continues to do a wonderful job in guiding your through our entire operation. Mahalo for spending part of your day with us. We truly appreciate your kind words and support!

A genuine look at a local farm in operation. The tour is well worth it.
Kahulu Farms provides a relaxed, low key visit to a small, working farm that provides fruits and vegetables to the area. I highly recommend the tour itself. It takes about an hour in a small group setting given by a knowledgeable and friendly guide. She provided a wealth of information and encouraged questions about all aspects of their operation. Their cafe was modest, but efficient and provided a true farm to table experience of their products. No glamour or glitz, but a wonderful real life view of a Hawaiian farm.
Aloha! Mahalo for joining our tour and for taking the time to share your experience! We are so happy to read that you enjoyed yourself on our little family farm! We appreciate your kind words and hope to have you back for another visit in the future! :)

Excellent lunch to be had here!
The cafe for lunch served delicious food - we had the veggie pizza plate lunch with a generous salad and a pizza-like prep on a crusty roll split open and topped with a chunky sauce of eggplant, peppers, and tomato. The seating is outdoors with a canopy to shade from the sun. Very casual and lovely yard for kids to play in.

This was a great experience. We learned a lot about the challenges of farming in Hawaii. We ate great food, both on the tour and at the cafe. And we had fun driving the golf cart around, meeting the other nice people on the tour, and just hanging out in this delightful space. Made for a good day and nice variety for our Hawaiian vacation.

We did the TOUR! Our Guide Ainsley, was articulate, passionate for regenerative agriculture, and hospitable, as what you want to experience from a family farm. Our big takeaway from this tour is understanding what "island-farming" means.

Their array of food & products are great, with ingredients directly from the farm.

Not to forget what separates their acai from the rest of Hawaii acai bowls is theirs are grown in Hawaii on their farm! I never knew that, knowing when coming to Hawaii that is a bucket list eat! A better way to choose locally and taste amazing!

Good food and friendly people. I had the roast vegetable with chicken Panini and my wife had the chicken Caesar salad. Both were very delicious. They have a coffee bar that made an excellent oat milk latte. Spacious and dog friendly.

When they say farm, this place is an actual working farm with an array of fresh produce, walking trails to see the land and secluded picnic areas.

They have one of the best Açaí bowls you’ll find on the island and it might be the only spot around that grows, harvests and serves their own farm-fresh açaí. The grilled banana bread here is also fantastic. Extra points and cred for that.

Unless some other small north shore stop-offs, they do accept credit cards and have restrooms on site. Give this place a try!

This was the best experience of our time on Oahu. It was so fun and informative to ride a wagon pulled by a tractor and learn about the crops they grow. We got to get out of the wagon and walk around the fields. We even go to sample some of the foods they have grown. The food at the cafe was amazing too.

We started with a delicious farm to table lunch then did the farm tour. It was great to see locally grown produce, especially because so much of Hawaii's food is brought in from outside. The banana grove was cool and the apple bananas were yummy. It was fun to get to try papaya, star fruit and the inside of a cocoa pod that surround the bean (tart and tangy). We learned so much from that guide. We finished off the visit with taste testing in the shop and a delicious açaí bowl to cool us off. Great afternoon activity which we followed up with a swim at turtle beach.

We were driving around Oahu for the day and looking for a spot for lunch. We saw Kahuku Farms. We were attracted by the idea of farm fresh food and encouraged by all the cars. Super busy spot on a Sunday but worth the wait. Freshly prepared, delicious food and drink. Great staff. Make sure you try the mochi!

We took the tour, which is offerred only on certain days of the week. It was very enjoyable. The group was small, the guide was friendly and knowledgeable, we got up close to a variety of crops, and we sampled various ripe fruits and chocolate. The tour was a little pricey but you are supporting a true local business. They also have nice products at their roadside store.

Lovely relaxed restaurant and local produce and treats. Kids enjoyed playing some volleyball and football in the green space and watching butterflies. The food was so good. Really fresh and flavourful.
