We were unable to go since no one answered our calls, though it wasn't inconvenient as we woke up at 5:30, reached the location on time, and followed the instructions diligently. Unfortunately, no one responded to our calls, and ultimately, no one arrived. It ended up being a waste of time and money. Despite sending numerous emails and making countless calls, we received no response. It feels like they took advantage of us and robbed us!

This was SOOOO FUN! The money was worth it and the captain was AWESOME! He even told us some unique facts about Hawaii and let us jump in the middle of the ocean to swim. Oh and he made sure we got SUPER WET! This is definitely a must do activity when in Maui. Would recommend to everyone.

A great trip well worth the money and time. Not only was the trip fun, Dan also gave lots of Maui knowledge that made the trip even more enjoyable. I’d highly recommend this for someone looking for a little excitement.

Captain Dan was an awesome guide, not only did he make it super fun to be going fast and doing 360s on the water, he stopped and taught us a lot about the islands!

Absolutely great experience for the whole family!!! My kids loved every minute and seeing the dolphins and turtles in their natural environment was a huge bonus!! We will be back

Best snorkel ever at Lanai. Sooooo many fish. Just wished that we had spent the entire time there and not moved on t the second site.

Our family of 5 went out for the 1/2 day trip to Lanai. Our kids were 16, 22, and 23. We had great weather and calm waters at Lanai fortunately. We stopped at two snorkeling spots on the east side of Lanai and then came back in around 11. We did not see a ton of different fish as compared to the Molokini snorkeling trip we took a few days prior, but we did see more sea turtles there so that was fun! Snacks included donuts, croissants, fruit, chips, and drinks. Crew was friendly. Would definitely do this trip again!

Is the full day vs the half day snorkeling trip worth it?

The Full and Half Day is like no other tours which goes to Lanai and around Lanai which is over 70 miles with 3 snorkel spots. Most of all the vessel from Kaanapali only go to the right of left of Maui along the shore which some of these snorkel spots you can drive there by car. The answer is Yes it well worth it plus during whale seasons which is December 15 - May 15 you will are pretty guaranteed to see humpback whales since our 1/2 days snorkel to Lanai is 4 hour where all other whale watch trips are 2 hours.

We will be driving to Ka'anapali from elsewhere on the island to hop on the boat at 7:00am for the day. Does anyone have any recommendations on the best place to park? Is it possible to park at Whaler's Village for the day? Thanks!

Yes, park at the Whalers Village. You can get a parking sticker from any of the store after you shop or eat at any of the restaurant and get a parking sticker. If you are going on the Snorkel trip that departs at 7am there is free beach parking between the Whaler's Village and the Westin Hotel.
