Sort of a last minute decision so we decided to see if they could work us in. Very accommodating and helpful staff member on the shore set us up and we only had to wait a few minutes. Took the inflatable out to the raft and in a matter of minutes were ready to go. The riding and safety instructions are quick but thorough so pay attention. We love to jet ski and the ocean is a bit more challenging then smoother water on a lake but still a blast. Jet skis were all in very good condition and the area you're allowed to ride in is large enough to have a good time. Just watch out for people not following the rules and you're fine. We were riding double and still managed to fall off once. That's part of the fun!

We were NOT provided with life jackets on the dinghy boat ride to jet ski platform. This boat was going too fast, nothing to hold on to, felt very unsafe. Someone could have easily fallen in the water, and no life saving equipment available as far as I could tell. Hard to believe a business running in the state with most deaths by drowning is still allowed to operate in this manner. Some of the staff was friendly, but some seemed cranky. The gentleman with pierced earlobes seemed particularly amused by my lack of familiarity with boats. I’m usually a generous tipper but i don’t tolerate unprofessionalism. Sorry guys, no “beer” money this time. Other than that, everything delivered as promised and on time.

The employee with a roman numeral tattoo on the chest is very rude with us, I accidently drove to the designated border once, instead of give us a verbal warning, he forced us to stop the whole trip. My 7 years old son was very upset since we only drove the jet ski for less than 24 mins, I told him I won’t approach the border again please just give a verbal warning instead, but he insisted to stop our entire trip. I’ve noticed some other customers also drove to the border few times; he just gave them a verbal warning but did not force them to stop the trip. I don’t know why this guy is so hostile to my son and me. This is the worst customer service in Maui, if I could give a zero star, I would!

This was a great time for three people of different ages and level of experience, from 16 to 54. We all had a blast. The team is very friendly and welcoming--they've got summer camp staff vibes going on--and it's a fun process, with a boat ride out to the "island" and back.

I echo the comments left by recent reviewers. We arrived 15 minutes early to our reservation (as requested), but they were running about an hour behind schedule. They had my email and phone number, but there was no call, text, or email notifying us of this delay in advance. The staff member on the beach was not particularly helpful or friendly, and the system was pretty haphazard. The staff on the boat/docks were nicer, but the whole thing did not feel particularly organized. Given this operation, the cost felt pricey. We had a good time riding around. The jet skis seemed to be in good condition, and I can see how someone who is more of a thrillseeker than I am would have a blast. I do think a lot of the experience depends on the choppiness of the water (we had a 10:30 am reservation, but ended up getting on the jet skis around 11:30 a.m., and it was pretty rough already) and who else is in your group. We were fortunate to have other guests who were polite and followed the rules. But right after our reservation, we saw some guys who clearly disregarded all safety measures and rules, and I would not have felt safe riding with them. (Especially considering the accidents and injures referenced by both the staff and other reviewers.) The staff tried to yell at them, but didn't do much beyond waving their hands and yelling at them to move. If you go, I recommend earlier in the morning and budgeting 2+ hours. Also, if you want to ride with a partner/friend - the double rides are more likely to tip over. My spouse and I did separate rides and were glad we did.
