Easy 1.2 mile loop trail on Maui's north shore. Enjoyed by all including my adventurous teenage boy and my anxious teenage girl. Some stunning views of the coastline, including the blowhole from afar. Most of time is spent on a dirt trail amongst the foliage...More

We got to know about it because of Maui Gypsy guide and really glad we took chance. It’s just 15-20 minutes ahead of Nakale Blowhole. It’s a easy hike around 1.2 miles which will reward you with stunning views. As it’s little rocky so won’t...More

The Ohai Loop Trail is a circular scenic walk of slightly over one mile requiring no real (athletic) conditioning whatsoever. If you have mobility, you are readily able to complete the task at hand. The ocean views from the cliff tops are stunning, but if...More

We stumbled on Ohai Trail looking for the Blowhole. It was actually from the Ohai Trail that we first saw the blowhole and knew we'd driven past it. The 1.2 mile trail is well marked and easy to navigate. The trail wound through some rugged...More

The trail is well marked, and very uncrowned. Saw only three others on the trail. There are some tremendous views on the ocean side, benches for sitting and a quick easy loop. A must if you are in the vicinity.

About 1.2 miles around, and easy walking. This trail will get you near the ocean edge, no beaches. There is info posted here and there talking mostly about the plants. There was a park bench in a beautiful spot. And it is about half way...More

The trail is easy to use with stunning views of the ocean. Rugged beauty all around. There's no shade to protect you from the sun, but was cloudy when I was there. Hardly anyone on the trail (maybe two). Plenty of space to park, but...More

Beautiful vistas. Take your time and take everything in. Pay attention to the warning signs as you drive. There are a lot of loose rocks along the way and a lot of blind corners.

Found this trail by accident on our way around Maui north west corner. Decided to walk it as its only short. Absolutely loved it!! Hardly anyone out there, and the sound of only nature in your ears is intoxicating!! Ocean, wind, birds and the crunching...More

Great stop on the way to Olivine pools or just while doing the west Maui drive. Plenty of parking space. Very easy trail, a lot of people had toddlers, this hike is great for all ages. The loop is fairly short, great to stretch your...More

No, no and....no. The trail is walking only; and besides, it is rough, rocky and narrow. You can, however bike along the road to the trail, but not on it.
