We come every year and always stay along Ka'anapali Beach. All of the resorts along the beach are above average with a good selection of restaurants. The shopping at Whalers Village is some of the best on the island. There is a walkway that follows the ocean and I'm guessing it is at least 1-1/2 miles long or longer. It... More

Love this beach. Always will see turtles and the views and sunsets are amazing. Hard to find a finer beach. The only thing is that the beach is narrow at certain points but that doesn't detract from this beauty

Gorgeous beach- you need to park near Whalers village and walk thru shops to get to public beach access. Access is right along and in front of hotels and restaurants. We had no problem getting a spot but it was definitely a touristy commercial feel as opposed to the quiet roadside state park beaches .

Not crowded, clean and plenty of distances can be covered walking along the beach. If you're walking along the road, access not always obvious, need to access in certain areas between resort property corridors. In other areas, we found parking for vehicles and BBQ grills.

Beautiful beach to snorkel or just lay on the beach! Parking was a little difficult if you went later in the day. So go early!

With all the sand and resorts, it is a great place to spend a day at the beach - though busy around you. Easily accessible, great snorkeling around Black Rock and great places to go and get a drink or meal while staying on the beach!

We have stayed at hotels right on Ka'anapali Beach a couple of times and it has been amazing. It's a great place to swim without too strong a current, and when the visibility is good, the snorkeling is nice, too. We have seen a number of turtles not far from the shore. Also a wonderful place to walk along the... More

There are beaches in many places in the world... but none quite like this one. Situated in between three Hawaiian islands, the views alone are worth the visit. Paradise comes to life along these shores with miles of manicured sandy beaches, lapping waves that wave hello, and if you're lucky (like I was) whale and dolphin sightings right off the... More

My family stayed at the Westin and enjoyed this beach thoroughly. The beach is clean and spacious and the surf is mild and crystal clear. There are so many activities and shops to take advantage of. Whalers Village provides upscale shops and inexpensive food options. We even took in a small hula show for free, that is one of the... More
