Easy to park on the street and not a long walk to sandy beach. Saw turtles everyday along the shore. Calm water in the morning with no wind. Afternoon was ok to Boogie Board.

Beautiful big beach, lots of room, grass areas and shade available, as well as amenities like washrooms and showers. It's really close to a few shops and restaurants.

Tried the beach this morning about 10:30. Loved it. Waves were great for beach bobbing and boggy boarding. Wind came up, but was still enjoyable. Spend some time at this beach you will not regret it.

It's in a great area, not often overcrowded, beautiful, accessible, with great views, especially at sunset. You can snorkel there, not a ton of stuff to see (like a lot of places in the world, the reefs at this beach are not very alive anymore),...More

All of the Kamaole beaches are wonderful and wheelchair accessible, which is a big plus! We especially enjoyed walking from Kam 1-3 every day, because access is easy and the beach is clean and beautiful!

A lots of space on the beach, lots of sand, could find parking even during Spring break. Good bodysurfing or swimming, even when the water was a bit rough

Clean, so Hawaiian, low to moderate surf - very good for letting kids play without drowning them. We smile every step of the wasy as we walk along the beach.

We did all three of the beaches and found this to be the second best of them. There was plenty of room on the beach, and it was never over crowded. Parking We went to this beach twice and arrived late morning on both occasions....More

A nice sandy beach with great views. Pack the sunscreen! This beach is excellent for boogie boards and a sea turtle may swim past you.

There isn't a charge to use any of the beaches on Maui. If you are not staying at a place on the beach, look for a public access area.
Is there a charge for using this beach? We've been told that some beaches on Maui charge a fee to use them.

We are going to be staying in a house on Llunlu Rd. in Kihei and are interested in close by beaches--house has beach access but not sure what the beach actually is at the house. Are the beaches nearby within walking distance and suitable for children?
