Kamaole Beach II was across the street from our condo. This is a great beach! The morning was the best time to go during our stay as the wind picked up in the afternoon and the waves were strong. There is a lifeguard on duty....More

Sand gradually goes out when in the water, no big drops, wave action lower, north end of beach not rocky

This beach is fantastic. Soft soft sand even into the water. Beware of the rocks on the left hand side when the waves are rocky.

We always went to the beach in the morning, 730 AM - 1130 AM. The water was always clear and the waves were gentle. Your guaranteed an encounter with a sea turtle with each visit. After 1130, the trade winds come in, and the surf...More

Just a little south of downtown and a little quieter than the other town beach. Arrived here on the beach trail and is a lovely spot.

This seems to be the best of the 3 Kamaole Beach parks, with wide open stretches of sand and no rock shelves for a decent swim, snorkelling is just at either end.

Lots of parking everywhere. Street, lots, across street. No worries.

There are water showers to wash the sand off of you (they are located outside though), but no, there are no beach chairs. You have to bring one from your resort (if they provide one).

There isn't a charge to use any of the beaches on Maui. If you are not staying at a place on the beach, look for a public access area.
