Everyone is there and everyone is happy! Wide, clean beach with restrooms and showers. Shady, grassed area above, eco-protective access. Lifeguards and warning flags.

Every morning I was do the beach walk from Charley Young to Kam I, II and III. Great way to start the day, saying hi to the other tourists doing their walk and watching the turtles along the shoreline

Excellent beach. Has lots of sand and a lifeguard station. Beach is long with excellent views. Quick walk to the shops in Kihei. Can rent water sport equipment right across from the Beach,

Excellent walking/swimming, alert lifeguards and entertaining people watching. If it is windy, you should keep your cameras and cell phones in a ziploc type bag because the sand will get into everything.

Sandy, few rocks, nice breeze. Faces west for a very nice sunset. Be very careful with children there is a pretty rough shore break that can knock you over even with apparently small waves. Head down the road a little to Monkeypod Kitchen for lunch...More

We stayed across the street from this beach and it was perfect - walking distance fndot only from our place but also restaurants, ice cream, shaved ice, etc. The sunset is absolutely glorious here every night. There are some rocky portions on the southern side...More

We stayed across the street so this was convenient for us. Our favorite part of this beach was walking over to the reef in the morning to see the turtles that would be there. It's great for mornings but in the afternoon it gets choppy...More

There isn't a charge to use any of the beaches on Maui. If you are not staying at a place on the beach, look for a public access area.
