We were lucky enough to stay right across from this beach on our recent Maui vacation and went for at least a couple hours every day. We saw at least one or two sea turtles every time we were there, and the waves were tame...More

Lifeguards here are very attentive. Great snorkeling on both sides of the beach in the morning when the sea is calm. Some rougher surf later and good for amateur body borders. Shaded picnic area with kids' playground. Not good for long walks on beach.

Favorite beach in the Kihei area. Great for kids, close to all the shops and a decent size. Doesn't feel very touristy like a lot of the other beaches near the resorts.

Great beach close to where we were staying on Maui. Very clean, and handy to have showers right there. Good surf for body surfing and boogie boarding.

Kam Beach Park III is a wonderful and large park with bathrooms and outdoor showers. The beach area is great for people of all ages. It's not wild like Big Beach often is, further south down the coast, but it still offers excitement when the...More

The beach was small, with a nice surf and beach area and provides reasonable snorkelling. The best time to go to the beach is in the morning with the surf and wind picking up in the afternoon. Lifeguards are on duty and definitely a family...More

I don't know that the park has them, but you have access to public outdoor showers at the condos across the street.
