This was one of the must-see places that our app guide told us about and we were not disappointed. We first walked to the caves which was very interesting and then took pictures on the cliff view of the black sand beach and volcanic arch. We then walked down to the beach and spent about a half hour there. We... More

We stayed in a VRBO right next to Hamoa beach and took short day trips. This park was really beautiful. Bring your camera for sure. We spent about an hour here walking around.

The park is small but pretty. It houses the black sand beach which is an absolute must see. We saw a lot of beautiful cats and kittens here :)

This was our goal as we drove the Road to Hana and it was a great spot to rest and relax before heading back. Lush and beautiful, not crowded but great things to see even with construction going on. Don't leave valuables in the car is all we knew so we took turns checking it out and enjoyed the time... More

Park your car and walk down to the beautiful black sand (pebble) beach. Swim a bit and head into the cave for a cool view to include in your Hana experience.

If you are on the road to Hana make sure to stop here. It is similar to the black sand beaches on the Big Island but this area has several caves and a cool rock arch formation.

The best stop in the road to Hana. It was even free. This has the black sand beach and it was absolutely gorgeous. We picnicked here. Definitely worth the stop.

The beach is so beautiful and we took a picture in the cave and I got a little rock and it is black.

I would say this is one of the top 3 most beautiful places on the entire island. The contrast of Black Sand, Craggy Rocks and Lush Jungle Forest says it all! A couple of notes... 1. Homells to enhabit this area but they keep to themselves well. 2. Allow MORE time here. We did not. Don't miss a few hours... More
