We visited the cat sanctuary on our vacation in Hawaii. After we took the 45 minute ferry from lahaina, we took a shuttle for 10 dollars per person to the sanctuary. There we were immediately lovely welcomed not only by the amazing volunteers but by...More

What an amazing job this place does taking care of all the cats. It’s a quick ferry ride over from Lahaina, (which in itself is fun! ) Once you arrive on the island there will be someone at the docks with a shuttle service. It’s...More

The experience of being surrounded by 600 cats is unique and fun. The admission is free (although we, of course, made a donation). Bring cat treats for overwhelming love, but the cats were very friendly with no extra food enticement. The sanctuary originally was established...More

You definitely need to take some sort of transportation to get there. Not within walking distance at all. Kind of close to the airport but still need a ride.
