The food was phenomenal at Stevenson’s and the service was very good. The drinks and food were pricey but that should be expected at a resort, however it had a great atmosphere and was worth the price.

This was our favourite meal in Kauai on our last trip. The food was simply outstanding and dining on the patio, with the Grand Hyatt’s view of their grounds and the ocean, was spectacular. Do make reservations though. We showed up a bit early to...More

Ate there one night when we didn’t want to leave the hotel. We found the sushi to be fairly good, and even our picky eight year old ate everything (sushi style menu for kids only). I would definitely come back here for either a meal...More

Me and my girlfriends visited the library for dinner and had the best time! We had an outside table on the balcony and loved it. The decor and vibe is very classy, upscale and sophisticated. I recommend the Samurai Mule for cocktails. There was also...More

I’ve always heard people rave about the sushi at Stevenson’s. Seen many posts and I finally made it here. I have my usual favorite sushi restaurant that I frequent but me and a girlfriend wanted to try something different and we we’re not let down....More

Ate dinner tonight at the sushi bar in the Stevenson’s Library at the Hyatt — definitely ono! Mine was the Honolulu (ahi, cucumber, avocado and tempura crunchies with sweet chili sauce), and a kappa maki. Steve had the Stevenson (rock crab, avocado, cucumber, seared blackened...More

This bar is starting to show its age. Decor is a little outdated, as is the music. It’s definitely catered to the older clientele of the hotel. Prices are very very high. So be prepared.

My husband and I stayed at the Hyatt 11 years ago and were engaged on the beach there. We stayed elsewhere this time but wanted to return for dinner. We had such good memories of the sushi at Stevenson’s Library! We had our 2 kids...More

This was the best sushi I have ever eaten. The unagi, ahi and uni were absolutely melt-in-your-mouth divine! Come with a hungry tummy because you will want to try everything they have to offer.

They had live music but it wasn't jazz. More like cover band music.
