We rented tanks from Blue Wilderness for about a week, and that was awesome! Tanks were always full, and double checked before I picked them up. It's a great deal, really works for us. Keep in mind though, that you have to reserve tanks before...More

Captain Kevin and dive master Greg both really know their reef fauna. Besides the usual suspects—such as numerous turtles—we saw cleaner shrimp, lantern tobies, flame angels, sleeping reef sharks, sandperch, and more. Pipefish and anthias were no-shows on this trip, but at least the guys...More

Our instructor Dave was really knowledgeable about the cliffs and coral structure of the coast, we saw plenty of amazing sea life and nice undersea lava architecture! The raft to the diving spots was really fun too! Definitely recommended!

My family and I have taken several trips with Blue Wilderness and each time we were made to feel like family. Diving, dolphins, mantas, they provide it all. Mahalos to the crew!!

Signed up for two tank morning dive. Crew were friendly and eager to set up everyone’s gear. The boat was a Rigid Inflatable Boat, which was fine, but excessive gear can get in the way based on limited floor space. This didn’t seem to be...More

This is really such a fantastic experience. My husband and I and our kids ages 18 and 15 neglected to read the confirmation that clearly says where to meet the boat (Puako Boat Ramp, I believe). When we arrived (a bit late) the captain and...More

Dave, Garry, and (Chad?) were all fantastic throughout the certification process. The diving that they take you too is very close to Waikoloa and there's tons of incredible swimthroughs that combined with the knowledge of the staff made this trip perfect.

Booked to go but sadly did not see any mantas. We were offered another trip when we return which was great! The staff, the dive boat and dive crew were excellent. I would advise on going on this trip

The snorkelers wear wet suits. They hold onto a float. There is no waiting around for the divers, the snorkeling and diving take place at the same time in the same spot.

Manta night dive a must do. I go 2-3 times at night every trip. Anywhere else they take you will be great for a second.

They give you a wetsuit on the tour - mine was only short sleeves and legs but definitely ask if a full one is available. I did not feel like I missed out at all with the snorkel experience! Enjoy
