Absolutely amazing! Enormous manta rays literally eye to eye with you! My only complaint is that the whole experience went by way too quickly! Thanks My Kona Adventures, I will recommend you to anyone who goes to Hawaii!

usually the water in the evening trips would be desirable because it would be less crowded less boats less people in the water

Aloha, We do snorkel trips for the manta rays and No you do not need one if you plan on snorkeling, if you plan on scuba diving then yes you will need to be certified Mahalo
