Located at Western Wyoming Community College, this place has 4 or 5 big dinosaur displays, up close and personal. Many other fossil displays. One hallway had 7 or 8 large slabs of rock with fossils embedded, or showing different rock formations created over eons. Big...More

We were staying right down the street and decided to save this for a Friday when rain was forecast. However, when we went on Friday, were disappointed to see it was closed. Maybe another time.

We loved the amount of displays on site, but our navigators had a hard time following the map in the booklet, so we backtracked a bit. We saw dinosaurs, fossils, the Wiedner Wildlife Museum(which was our favorite because of all of the unusual taxidermied animals),...More

Very interesting History Museum..We were also lucky, as we had a great tour guide. We spent a good hr. going through and enjoy it.

A great experience for the whole family. Lots of history from prehistoric dinosaur bones, Moai statue, fossils, Historic pictures of Rock City coal mining and much more. Don't miss it.

I couldn't believe how fun this would be for me and little ones. It is also free admission. As soon as we walked in, my kids were given a little scavenger hunt map and stickers. They had to find a whole list of prehistoric creatures...More

The Natural History Museum at the Western Wyoming Community College is an interesting and free past-time. When my family comes to visit, we usually stop by to check out the dinosaurs and museum with the kids, they enjoy it and so do we!
