A great experience for the whole family. Lots of history from prehistoric dinosaur bones, Moai statue, fossils, Historic pictures of Rock City coal mining and much more. Don't miss it.

I couldn't believe how fun this would be for me and little ones. It is also free admission. As soon as we walked in, my kids were given a little scavenger hunt map and stickers. They had to find a whole list of prehistoric creatures...More

The Natural History Museum at the Western Wyoming Community College is an interesting and free past-time. When my family comes to visit, we usually stop by to check out the dinosaurs and museum with the kids, they enjoy it and so do we!

I took my grandkids, it was pretty spread out but the college wasn't in session so there weren't many people around. It was enjoyed by all of us and we will go back and see it again as we didn't get to finish due to...More

This is an active community college, with replica dinosaur skeletons scattered through the hallways. We have been both during a semester and off-semester. If you are there during the semester you have to realize this is a real school with students in the hallways. The...More

There once was a time when this was a stellar exhibit. The dinosaur figures are still amazing, but the last time I visited the museum exhibits had been pulled and it was being turned into an art display. It may have changed in the last...More

We were waylaid in Rock Springs, WY for a day in a half, because pieces of my wife's car started falling off. I'm not going to say I'm GLAD it happened, but at the very least, there's worse places we could've been stranded! The "museum"...More

This museum at WWCC was especially interesting in the animal section, but there wasn't much information on each species or behaviors. The dinosaur bones and collections were enormous and very awe-inspiring. I would recommend for a quick walk through the museum/campus.
