Joined the bitter club. This is Wisconsin's oldest continuous operating drinking establishment. Super friendly staff that greeted us and more than welcoming bartender.

Stopped in on a Wednesday - great bar tender on duty. We joined the bitters club and had a couple beers. I’d highly recommend stopping here on your visit to the island. We lucked out being two of three customers - I’m sure this place...More

We had a nice hearty dinner here. It is connect to Nelsen's Pub. The prime rib was decent. It also came with the salad bar!

Nelson's is absolutely a blast from the past. Had some great old photos from the "founder" and fun tales about the prohibition era to be told. Make sure you go, and join the Bitters Club while you're there. A fun and funny way to connect...More

Stopped in for a few drinks as we had heard from others it was worth while. Lots of history here- a must to take a minute and learn it. We added our name to the Bitters Club.

Fun place to stop for a drink. We sat at the bar and our server was fantastic. She told us the history behind Nelson's. After doing a shot of bitters you are given a member card. Just don't forget the chaser!
