Wisconsin Point is so beautiful and away from crowds at Superior, Wisconsin. Each pullout has walk to beach and we enjoyed seeing the lake, rocks, lighthouse and sunset. We stayed until dark to catch the lights of the city.

Driving on a 2 track sand road with pull offs is great in the middle of a city. The pull offs have paths to beach and lake. There are no facilities here just undeveloped nature! Have a picnic!

This was a beautiful place to view Lake Superior, wade, swim, and just take in some nature. You could walk for miles along the beach.

One of the longest stretches of beach on the great lakes. The sand is nice and the swimming is great if you've built up a tolerance for Lake Superior cold... Rock hunters will have a field day, and for those that like to walk the...More

Beautiful scenery - quiet beach - lighthouse too in Wisconsin (not far from Duluth, MN). Walk on the beach - couples, family, friends. Kids play in the sand, look for rocks, watch the ships and the gulls.

Beaches are great for swimming if the water is warm. Historic Native cemetery. Walk out to the lighthouse. Great for bird watching.

Coming back to Duluth from Amnicon Falls State Park in Wisconsin, the weather was truly hot and I recalled fond memories of swimming in Lake Superior from Park Point. However, I knew from my college days that Wisconsin Point also had beaches. Newly paved roadways...More
