Unique in it's structure, attractive to see from the outside, but charming, inside! A wonderful place to visit, and reflect on how great it is to be alive!

There are three domes to explore. See the desert dome first and look for the doves. Then go to the Tropical dome. I was shocked to see a corpse flower in bloom. I had never seen one in person before. Save the Show Dome for...More

3 dome offers different climate - tropical , desert and temperate. 1st two are good and worth it. 3rd one is more like seasonal and mostly the stuff you see else where.

I really enjoyed the Domes. Peaceful (if you're lucky enough to avoid lots of people). The plants and flowers are gorgeous. I also liked how there are birds in some of the domes that you can look for. I was there during the "dinosaurs under...More

I took my kids to visit the Mitchell Park Domes as part of a day trip to Milwaukee. We were only able to walk through the desert and tropical domes because the "show dome" was getting a new display installed. That was a little disappointing,...More

This was a real good time. Free parking. In a park. 3 enclosed environments (Desert, Tropical, Just Beautiful). Tropical also had lots of info on dinosaurs. Allow 30 minutes per dome, more if you're a serious plant lover.

We really enjoyed the domes. We like gardens, and this is quite a unique facility. We also enjoyed the dinosaur exhibit, even tho we're only kids at heart. Ha.

Imagine you have been shrunk down to size and get to walk through the plants in a glass terrarium - that's the unique experience visiting The Domes. There are 3 domes: the desert, the rain forest and their absolutely gorgeous any time of year show...More

Stopped in here while cruising through and was surprised at the amount and experience offered for the price of admission. Like a very interesting set of decent-sized terrariums of different environments. Nice to visit when the weather was not cooperating.

Yes, that would be a wonderful time to see the Domes - get out of the cold and enjoy the warmth and color of the beautiful flowers. Great little gift shop, too!
