    Absolutely worth a visit!
This is an excellent museum which tells the history of HD in many aspects. We stayed several hours but it didn't seem like it because we were so engaged in all the exhibits. We will definitely come again to see the new exhibits that are currently in process.

    Worth The Money
I’m not a bike rider since the 80’s, and never owned a HD, but HD is an iconic American brand. Where else can you go and see dozens on museum quality HDs? Stunning displays and be sure to spring the extra $5 for the hand held audio tour device. The gift shop is pricey, but so it everything with the HD brand….so why wouldn’t it be. There are enough reasonably priced items to send you on your way with a few $ left in your pocket.

Perfect stop for young and old
Really great exhibits. You can follow the business history, the technology and the market with well documented exhibits. The central attraction are the bikes, which are masterfully displayed. There are separate display areas for off road, racing, and engines. I particularly liked seeing the Harley delivery vehicles. Of course, at the last display, you can climb on a few to get those fantasy photos! You don't need to love motorcycles to love this museum.

    So glad we did this!
My husband, a past Harley owner for years, couldn't wait to visit this museum. I am not a motorcycle enthusiast, yet found this to be one of my favorite stops in Milwaukee. Loved seeing this history of this iconic brand and enjoyed sitting on some of the newer bikes. Make this a Milwaukee must!

    Fun Stop
This was a fun experience! The history is amazing and seeing the vintage bikes was great. I enjoyed the exhibit of motors and the wall with the different gas tanks was interesting. Overall, just a good experience for a couple of hours. I would highly recommend, even if Harleys aren't your big thing.

    Motorcycle Museum
The museum is situated in the southern part of Milwaukee near the Menomonee River. The history of the legendary Harley Davidson motorcycle is fascinating and this unique museum gives an excellent opportunity to have a closer look at some of these unique machines. Exhibits include several historic models in excellent condition and it is really nice to take a walk along the river. There is also a nice gift shop with a huge selection of Harley Davidson merchandise and a good restaurant on the site. It is possible to spend several hours in here and the museum is definitely worth a visit.

Absolutely loved it at The Harley Davidson Museum in Milwaukee. It’s got everything from when Harley Davidson first started. They have 1 model of every bike manufactured . We did the private tour and went behind the scenes and had a very knowledgeable tour guide that told us the whole Harley Davidson story as well as looked at the full full collection . Highly recommend the Harley Davidson Museum The restaurant was excellent and served delicious food and had a bar . Came all the way from Australia to visit and glad we did .

Wet unique spot and enjoyable. Some very cool displays as well as an awesome car show going on outside at the same time with live music and vendors.

A must do while in Milwaukee. A great display outlining the history of Harley Davidson from the beginning up to today. The motor room displayed all their engines over the years was neat also.

I’m not a motorcycle fan but this museum is very interesting. The history of how it all started and how the motorcycles evolved. It took about 2 hours. I would recommend this museum to all.

My husband and I drove to the Harley Museum from Minnesota as part of our 35th wedding anniversary. We are both Harley owners and riders, but did not take our cycles. We arrived a little after noon, and got in immediately. It is more of a plaza area than a building. We parked much farther away than we needed, but parking wasn't really marked, except for the motorcycle parking :) You can actually park very close. There are discounts for senior citizens, military, and students. Under 5 is free. Almost all museums charge an admission and we knew it was going to be $22 a person for general admission. I did check the museum out online before we went, and I was not disappointed. We went when the temperature outdoors was 101°. It was air conditioned and delightful in all of the buildings. Yes! There is a museum (upstairs and down), a restaurant and bar, an outlet/closeout clothing store, and a retail shopping store. The museum is incredibly well done, but certainly not huge, and they have a vault on the 3rd floor that has several items that are not on display yet or were at one time. The wall of gas tanks is absolutely a work of art, and just plain cool. There are several amazing displays of where Harley Davidson started in the beginning and displays of motorcycles and many other things Harley related. It is a trip through the ages, thus you are at a museum. They have a fun kids corner with several things to keep the littles busy. Everything from dress up clothes and books to a mini motorcycle. Near the exit they have 5 motorcycles that are new releases you can sit on for photo opps. The part of the building where the museum is located was educational, entertaining, and inspiring. It also was handicapped and stroller accessible. The bathrooms were also very clean. Once we were done at the museum we went to the factory outlet and got great deals on some Harley gear. Everything there was 50-70% off. My husband is a bigger guy and sometimes larger sizes are hard to find. We had no problem finding sizes. They went up to 5XL. We did not eat at the restaurant, but then went to the retail store where the newest in Harley apparel was available at regular price. We were there on a Thursday, and there was a band playing that evening. Although there was a breeze from the water, it was warmer than we were interested in sticking out, so we did not stay for the band. A must stop and see for Harley fans and anyone looking for a walk through history with food and shopping based on motorcycles.

This is a very small museum — but it has a few retail shops surrounding it. Great location in Milwaukee, but it came up a bit short. There is a restaurant on site that we heard was worth going to.

First of all:
I am Not a motorcycle or HD person…we went bc my husband wanted to check this out. I was quite surprised that I enjoyed our 2-3 hours here. I had no idea that HD was involved in making boats, golf carts, bikes for Police, dare devils/stunts, the post office/mail delivery, pharmacy delivery & for the government (production for Both ww1 & ww2!)
There were some hands on/interactive things & short movies on ww2 & the bikes.
In the beg, it has displays of how the 4 men got started in a small garage, first stock shares, original parts brochure ($1 muffler).
Info on the HD groups around the world.
At the end, they had about 7 bikes that you could sit on & take a pic
Clean bathrooms, water fountains, lockers,
Free parking, 2 clothing & souvenir stores on site & a restaurant.

The HD Museum is absolutely amazing! I do not own a bike, but you don't need to own a motorcycle to appreciate this museum. It is truly inspiring - the story is amazing and dates back to 1903. I was thoroughly impressed.
