A quick visit to this geological anomaly in late spring / early summer. Park is small...simply surrounding the large hollow. Trails & steps are limited and could use a little TLC. It's a cute pit stop to stretch your legs for 10-20 minutes.

We stopped here on our way home from a weekend getaway. We parked and the only other vehicle there was leaving so we had it all to ourselves. We put on our bug spray and started the short walk. We did the overlook first and...More

Devil’s Punchbowl is a stunning area in menomonie. A short drive from the city through winding roads overlooking the red cedar. The punchbowl is an awesome area and is great for pictures and to go to just breathe in everything. I recommend going when it...More

This is a nice place to visit if you don't have a lot of time. Make sure you explore both stairways. When you get to the bottom, go by the weeping wall. Very pretty. You are in the woods so there are bugs.

The hotel had a picture of this hanging on the wall behind the service desk and it caught our eye, so we had to check it out. It was only about a 10 minute drive and a must see for anyone new to the area....More

Devils Punchbowl is an interesting geological site near Menomonie. There are steps down into Punchbowl and worth your time to visit.

This is a small, roadside natural formation that is pretty cool to experience. Was there in early spring and there were still ice "curtains" formed a!ong the sides of this natural bowl formation. We also took a look at a very extensive maple extracting setup...More

This was a nice find. The rock formation is cool. The area is not really taken care of so wear your hiking shoes. The weeping wall was very cool. The area small. The steps seemed sturdy.
