Visiting from the Pacific Northwest, I was pleasantly surprised!! Did the Doughboy hike (1.7 mile loop) today. Great trail through the woods with beautiful waterfalls! What a gem! Really nice little walk!

The park is well-maintained and the signage to direct visitors to and around the Brownstone Falls and Copper Falls is informative. We especially liked the older pathways built by the men who served in WWI. Today, along the pathways there are several modern platforms to...More

Great hikes with falls after falls. A fair amount of up and down...some people along the trail remarked that breaks were necessary, so be aware of that if you have a tough time with stairs or don't usually hike. Lots of great views during a...More

Awesome camping experience! Everything at this park is great. The falls trails are a must see! Great ice cream stand and beach area as well. Will definitely camp here again!

We went here to see the waterfalls and weren't disappointed. We did bring mosquito repellent but it wasn't really necessary. Some points of the walk we're handicap accessible but others had stairs. Nice concession stand at the end of the 1.7 mile loop we took.

We stopped here on the way up to Apostle Islands and were glad we did. Hidden in the middle of “the Northwoods,” the Doughboys trail passes 3 waterfalls and has the feel of the rugged Black Hills in South Dakota! The 1.7 mike trail is...More

We camped here in our motorhome in mid July. It is a gorgeous park with beautiful trails and waterfalls. The lower falls trail from the campsite was a little rustic. We ended up walking back along the road to avoid the bugs and mosquitoes. The...More

This is a great state park with an easy hike where you can see multiple waterfalls. We enjoyed the scenery and the walk. We saw a deer on our way to Copper Falls and we also enjoyed Brownstone Falls. There were picnic tables, bathrooms and...More

If memory serves me correctly we researched before we went and they were not allowed in most places. I know we did not see any dogs on the trails we were on.

I didn’t really look but from what I remember it took stairs to get to the mail trail to see the falls
