Fun activity with teens. They enjoyed climbing to the top and learning about all of the shipwrecks in the Great Lakes. We learned that two families lived in the house & shared the 1 kitchen. I would have liked to have learned more about how...More

The views and the station museum are free. The museum is well maintained and tells the local history. We did not climb the lighthouse.

This museum is a tribute the lighthouses and shipwrecks of the kenosha area. It shows how the light keeper lived but also gives the history of shipwrecks in the area. The guide was very knowledgeable. Not very stroller friendly.

This lovely lady is standing proud in this quaint little town. The museum was closed and parking was not plentiful but she sure is beautiful! There is a decent little plaque with her history

The museum is open daily and free to visit. The lighthouse is open on certain days and costs a small donation. Has a lot of information about the local area and its naval history.

Although the lighthouse isn't functioning any more, a visitor can get a good understanding of the role great lakes lighthouses still play. The exhibits are interesting, and climbing the spiral metal stairs to the top of the lighthouse leads to a beautiful view of Lake...More

The highlight of this stop is definitely the opportunity to climb the lighthouse, but the informative exhibit is worth taking the time to go through as well. The volunteer keeper was extremely knowledgeable, not only about this particular light station, but also was able to...More

We did not tour it , but walked the grounds. Beautiful area and plenty to do in the immediate area. We did have a little trouble getting to the lighthouse. Couldn't find the road to it.
