We were staying in nearby Kenosha and came to Petrifying Spring Park for some walking. It was beautiful. The trail took us through the golf course (which looked inviting) and along many well maintained paths. The plants and wildlife were vibrant. We saw someone working...More

I had the pleasure of playing 9 holes(back 9) on a crisp spring day. Facilities and more importantly, the staff, were wonderful. While the course appears “short” on the card it is very challenging and scenic. Took the time to drive through the rest of...More

Great park for a family picnic, tossing a frisbee, or a scenic day hike. Lots of parking and no fee.

Best park in Kenosha. It has a lot to offer. Baseball, golf, hiking, beer garden, playground equipment, cook outs. During our winter months it is the best place to go sledding. It also has a dog park.

I have great childhood memories of visiting Pet''s, and have been bringing my own kids there for over 20 years. The paved path that runs the length of the park makes it easy to bring a stroller, scooters, or rollerblades. The park equipment is well...More

With a summer Biergarten and a scenic creek flowing through it, Petrifying Springs is a great summer hangout!

There are too many great trails for hikes, walks or cycles to cruise on through the park. The fresh air and greenery never get old.
