You can spend a lot of time in this venue. If you're not a fisherman it may not be your thing, but if you are, or can appreciate the sport, it is fascinating. Starting with a trip up the stairs inside the giant Musky that...More

Nice photo opportunities, but boring. Looking at old boat motors did not interest me. However, Grandpa was fascinated.

If you like freshwater fishing, this place is worth the visit. Many, many exhibits of world record fish, fishing hall of fame members and fishing lures. The amount of fishing lures displayed, both new and old, were amazing. Also had displays of old fishing motors....More

Interesting place, lots to see, I spent a lot of time looking at the motor collection and the exhibits in the buildings. Reading all the information as your walking up to the mouth of the great fish is interesting.

Our family fishes and we were in Hayward for other reasons, but it was raining so we decided to stop. Surprised to find an $8 per person entrance fee. Collection and lures are large. Displays are dusty and semi-professional (not all items are labeled and...More

There are so many neat old things to see. I am not much into fishing, but I enjoyed seeing the huge collection of everything fishing. It is nice to see these old items being preserved and well taken care of for everyone to enjoy.

I am not into fishing, so I did not enjoy this as much as my friends did. They had a lot of neat looking fish mounts, and the large fish in the middle of the place was really neat.
