Camping, fishing, boating, kayaking, swimming, biking, hiking, snowshoeing, and cross-country skiing--I've enjoyed all four seasons at this state treasure. There's something for everyone who loves nature. Set on a long stretch of Lake Wissota, this park is well-planned, well-loved, and continues to improve each year.

Large state park with modern facilities. Located on a large Flowage, Lake Wissota, with a beach and boat access. In the campground areas the bank is very high, don,t expect a lakeside spot. Nice hiking trails and nature center. Cross skiing trails in the winter.

My wife and I spent a nice, relaxing day here hiking and enjoying nature. The park has miles of beautiful trails and it also includes a well-maintained little beach.

The trails have excellent signage and are well-maintained. We were only there part of an afternoon, but certainly saw areas we wanted to return to and explore.

This state park has seen better days. It has or had potential but funding must be so limited that there's nothing in the budget to make improvements. And the park needs lots of improvement. Of particular note: stay away from campsite 12E. It's not suited...More

For the $44 spent on 1 nite stay - I expected more..... larger campsite - these are all narrow & deep, but only mowed a small portion. The rest is in a natural state for bugs, snakes, etc. The real bummer was the shower bldg....More

We rented a Canoe. Staff was very informative and looked like a great place to take a family on a camping trip. Lots of kids activities and ideas at the main building. Beautiful!

On a family road trip stopped at the park and had a family picnic. Had great views of the lake. The kids had fun playing on the playground equipment.
