Went camping this weekend with my hubby and our 2 dogs. We were a bit worried after reading some reviews (both here and elsewhere), but ended up having a great time. To address some of the concerns I've read about: *Noise: Yes, there is some...More

Thankfully, I read the helpful reviews before my girlfriend and I decided to campus (not TV style, just regular camping) at this site. Warning, do not go with high expectations of some fabulous/quaint place to camp. You must go with an open mind and be...More

This was the only campground available in the area. It’s a small campground and there was only one site available. It’s located between the interstate and a very busy train track, so peace and quiet is nonexistent. The train blew its horn every time it...More

This is a small state park. Only a couple miles of trails for walking but the climb to the top of the bluff provides a great view. Walking up on CCC laid stone steps makes the walk up even more memorable. Fencing around the top...More

Smelly toilets, hard to find after dark, noisy train line running right by. Tons of bugs, no water, trash in the firepit. We booked online which made it about as expensive as a private campground. The bluffs are not very impressive really. We didn't swim...More

We like this park for a number of reasons, but mostly for the nice little beach that fronts the shallow lake. It's a great place to take the family on hot summer days, as it has a very gradual grade, no terribly deep areas and...More

This campground is quite small, and does not have much for facilities, which is why I can camp there on the Fourth of July weekend. (I think all the crazies stay away, or go to where there are shower facilities.) You can swim here, but...More

The natural beauty of this area is astounding and the one (ONLY person working was kind, friendly and helpful). The spring fed lake was extremely clean, the campsites nice, and a local Eagle Scout built beautiful benches for each site. However, this park was here...More

Mill Bluff is a wonderful State campground. Facilities are clean, staff is very friendly, easy to find and great hiking at the main bluff area and nearby areas. Sandy beach, kid friendly swimming.

Hiked around with our 6 and 8 year old and enjoyed this park. Be sure to climb up the 150+ stairs to the lookout on Mill Bluff, hike camel bluff trail ( you can get up close to the rock formations and explore) and drive...More

Nice place for a picnic and a swim. Clear spring water and beautiful sand beach and bottom. View from Bluff was nice and would be great during fall colors.
