Apart from being actual volcanic rocks, these formations appear positioned quite similar to groups of people in a city square. If you're imaginative enough (and you haven't checked out the legend about this place before visiting) you cannot help picturing Ancient Hellenic Medusa barging in...More

Up a poor road (it becomes little more than a farm track) a few miles from the main road, this is well worth the detour. Great stone formations. Recent development includes a little tourist/souvenir shop, and there are some nice paths for viewing places, and...More

This small valley, featuring some large doll-like natural stone formations, is quite interesting. We were pleased to meet the mayor of Kuklica and, although they are short of funds, they have constructed a nice building for gatherings and a small shop for souvenirs (cheap!) and...More

Interesting, but nothing special. When I looked at the pictures, I expected more. We also visited a restaurant just there and they have very good food.
