This is a paved path along the Baraboo River that starts near the Circus World Museum and ends near the zoo (or vice versa). It is a scenic walk but some parts are quite steep and difficult to negotiate. If you visit the Circus World...More

We enjoyed this short walk overlooking the Wisconsin River in Wisconsin Dells. Nice and quiet this early in the spring. Bonus is the Riverwalk Bar with wonderful cheese curds and beer.

There is an upper and lower walk. Very relaxing stroll along the Baraboo River. There is tons of wildlife and if you are quiet you might get to meet a few deer or geese or even a fox 🦊

Geese, ducks, clean trail, circus museum and a river. So much to see and enjoy on your walk. Three miles one way, lots of areas to park, peaceful and friendly people you meet on your walk. Amazing trail located in the heart of the city....More

We parked at the park and took a nice stroll along the river. Very wide blacktop walkway with tons of benches. The river is just beautiful here.

We had walked along here after rain-showers and under blazing sun and it was always a "nice place to walk" with my wife (and meet new people too.)

The Riverwalk is not lighted, but the central area is fairly light with nearby city lights, otherwise unless a full moon, it is not lit. Hours are park hours, 7am to 9 pm generally.
