I have visited Astasia Spa many times in the last 15 years. I have had facials, messages, and pedicures. Frankie Tan, the owner, gives wonderful messages. I was there a few days ago. I was so relaxed after my treatments that once in bed I went to sleep the minute my head touched the pillow. I highly recommend Astasia Spa.

Meh. My husband and I had the same experience with different massage therapists — lacked the pressure. They didn’t ask either if the pressure was enough. In fact, I had asked for more pressure since it felt like she was just moisturizing my skin. But even with that request, the pressure stayed the same, or lack thereof. My therapist was also inconsistent — her technique on one leg won’t be the same on the other. Strange. Not a fan.

Pleasant massage, small changing area. Technician barely said a word to me🥺
I am used to being asked about massage pressure, and a bit more interaction.
Clean. Nice robes.

There is no better spa in Berkeley Springs. In fact, My friends and I have been coming to BS for over 15 years. I live 2 hours away. There are no better spas for the value within a 2 hour radius. A Frankie Tan massage is an otherworldly experience. His is not, however, for massage wusses who hope to fall asleep during a service (I will never understand that but that's me.) His massages are a true therapeutic experience that are best served by relaxing afterward. There is a reason folks from DC, Baltimore and other urban areas flock to this place. My friends, 75 year old mother, aunts, and my 50+ year old male partner have all had Frankie massages and services here. It's simply the bomb. Highly recommend a whirlpool bath before all services to relax the muscles ahead of time. Have gotten to know the staff by first name over many years. They're the kindest people you will meet. It is not the Mandarin Oriental- been there, and it's amazing. Understand that you are in a granola type laid back small WV town... don't expect the Ritz. The pace of service is appropriate and well scheduled. Justin, the spa manager, is wonderful as are each of the staff. This is the place you need to be for quiet, luxurious, impeccably done services for a fair price, by wonderful locals. who earn every penny. I literally come 2 hours and over night just to experience this place, and will never stray. Book it now. You won't be disappointed.

We did the combo of a hot tub and massage. It was very relaxing and the massage was super. Place is very clean and friendly and a great value. The bathrobes are unbelievable, and they're even for sale!

During the almost 15 years we have been going to Berkeley Springs for R&R long weekends, my wife and I always make sure to include a visit to Atasia Spa. The facilities are very clean, organized, and well-kept with a very serene, peace-filled ambiance. The staff is extremely accommodating, courteous, friendly & helpful.
We usually plan for a 3+hour stay - doing the Steam Room & Herbal Wrap, followed by rejuvenating facials, and topped off with massages by the Spa owner Frankie Tan. Afterwards, we feel so pampered, stress-free and relaxed that we pretty much float back through the town and up the hill to our B&B! Highly recommended!!

This spa provides a relaxing experience. The staff are soft spoken and welcoming. This is a place where they get that the atmosphere they create is 50 % of the experience. On this visit my grown daughter and I experienced the Pampered hands and feet along with pedicure to start. She selected a massage and I selected a facial for a second treatment. Last year we did the three treatment sampler so we wanted to focus on our greatest needs. When we have pedicures we love to go together to chat. This to time we ended up being relatively quiet. There was some chit chat with the technicians but primarily we just experienced the gentle treatments they provided. My only complaint is that in the treatment room the overhead light was too bright. More work level lighting for the technicians would have made the experience even better. After this treatment we went upstairs to relax in one of the lounge areas they provide. These spots are serene as quiet is encouraged. Our second treatments were appropriately scheduled so that the timing was neither rushed nor overly delayed. My facial started with the technician asking about allergies and skin sensitivity. She then provided a facial that would not aggravate my rosacea. While maybe not as deeply cleansing as I thought I needed, my skin felt refreshed and smooth and I didn't breakout from the treatment which has occurred before - not from this spa. My daughter was very happy with her massage. A wonderful experience from start to finish.

We were in town from NYC and were looking for a relaxing afternoon at the local spa. Atasia did not disappoint! We each started with a relaxing private whirlpool followed by a 90-minute massage. Pam was incredible! She spent extra time on my problem areas while making sure the entire experience was head-to-toe relaxing. The facilities are also incredibly clean and thoughtfully designed to enhance your visit. Just an all around great spa!

Myself and 4 ladies booked the Almost Heaven package. All of us very much enjoyed each treatment, but we all said the facial was the best! Personally, Gretchen was incredible! Every person was very friendly and helpful. Never having had a mud treatment before, we didn't know what to expect. It was nice, albeit a little strange! We all said that our skin felt wonderful after, we were relaxed and didn't want it to end.
Our only commentary was that we noticed some of the furniture could stand to be updated, the lighting was a tad off. Spas we have been too before are typically dim lighting and very calming, there was a bit too much sunlight coming in.The locker room shower needs a remodel, even better would be more than one shower. Lastly, on the 2nd floor, the a/c made a very noticeable and distracting buzzing noise. None of these were deal breakers, but worth noting. These improvements would take Atasia from a very nice spa to an amazing spa!
Several workers recommended places in town for eating out. Later that night we walked up to Ravenwood to see about breakfast hours. Although we were disappointed to learn that they were not open for breakfast on Sundays, we ran into Frank there and he very graciously bought us a bottle of wine. It was completely unexpected, but we enjoyed it while chatting with the locals, and listening to a solo guitar and singing act. Behind the spa, this was the 2nd best part of the weekend!! If we decide to return to Berkeley Springs, both Atasia and Ravenwood would be in the plans!!

Hands down the best spa in town! I’ve come here many many times and from the moment you walk in it’s pure serenity! The staff go above and beyond for their customers and it’s always so clean! Frankie Tan is amazing and so are all of his employees! I just love coming here! If you’re looking to relax and be taken care of, this is the place to be! Tell Justin and he will make it all so special! Thank you for having such a wonderful place and a perfect little “getaway” ❤️❤️
