Chambers Bay Park is a wonderful place to go for a family outing or picnic, a walk on the beach or on the paved walking/biking trails, to fly a kite, play soccer or a round of golf on one of the most challenging courses in...More

I've played Chambers Bay a dozen times in the four years I've resided in Tacoma, and the course features a great routing right beside the Puget Sound. There have been a zillion complaints about course conditions since the US Open in 2015, and hopefully the...More

Don’t be fooled. This golf course isn’t just a golf course. There is a 3.2 mile paved walkway all the way around the golf course. Enjoy the peaceful sound of the small waves hitting the small stoned beach. You can here seal and bird and...More

The USGA blew it during their preparation. Forget the bad rap during the 2015 US Open. This place is fantastic. The course is challenging but straight forward and fair. The condition was great.

This walking only course is until any other course I have played. The entire course is built in an open pit which really plays with your depth perception and made for some shots landing much shorter/further than I anticipated. The views are very scenic on...More

We walked the loop & down on the beach. So gorgeous and relaxing! Wonderful for kite flying, dog running, or just sitting reading a book. Not a stressful walk, very smooth (unless you'd like to hike up the hill, that's a steep hill!)
