Interesting shops inside. There were several restaurants to go to for a quick, cheap and nice meal. Building's design is quite unique compare to the modern ones.

I have been here twice and I love the little place. It is something unique to Tacoma and gives that museum/antique feeling. Parking is available out on the street and there is a garage across the street too. It is the Tacoma links last stop,...More

Stopped by this old Tacoma landmark during mid October in the early afternoon. Most of the shops were open with very little foot traffic. The shops were neat and clean and they had a reasonable sized food court. It's a very unique place to visit...More

I had a butterscotch latte at mocha stop and it was okay for the price at that time of the morning. Not sure I would go out of my way to stop in at any other restauarants.

We visited a Lego event for kids in the lower level of this eclectic shopping center. This old freight warehouse along the train track has been converted into a shopping mall of local small shops and restaurants. There are toys, antiques, a barber, art and...More

This is a cool old building but it seems that there isn't enough business to keep many shops there. I am glad I went. We had lunch at The Olive Branch, and that was a real treat.

The 2 star rating means, "Meh. I've experienced better". Well, I have experienced better and it was at the Freighthouse Square. I've never read up on the history of this building. It must have been built near the turn of the century as a freight...More

I did not know Tacoma had this wonderful little secret! With Spring Break in full swing, its tricky to keep kids occupied. Just happened to run across the Lego Expo happening at City Blocks through Sunday April 12, 2015. It was worth going! The feel...More
