We just wanted somewhere other than a Walmart parking lot for the night. Very pretty, but the mosquitoes are horrible. Train noise isn't bad.

You park on the grass - no cement pads here - and enjoy the beautiful setting on the lake. The owner is very good about keeping it clean & quiet, so no music or late night noisy campfires, which is our whole point of camping....More

I won't go into great depth, but to call this a "resort" is definitely hyperbole. It does have a lot of shade and grass in an otherwise barren area. The rules, as mentioned by one or two others, make you want to roll your eyes....More

Beautiful lake, nice breezes, green grass and quiet. We didn't mind the trains. Saw lots of neat wildlife and enjoyed our stay on the way home from Yellowstone.
