The trail was busy the day we went but it does offer really great panoramic views of the area. The trail can be quite steep in places but there are some benches and turnouts. We went in early spring & wildflowers were blooming. It was...More

Best Views in the Tri-Cities. Must hike for those who would like a little extra exercise. As well as seeing the local area, on a clear day you can see Mt. Rainier, Mt. Adams and the Blue Mountains. Sometimes you can even spot Mt. Hood....More

Cannot recommend this enough! Great hiking trails and beautiful views. The shortest ones are just over a mile each way and for almost all ability levels.

During a business trip I decided to hike Badger Mountain an early morning. I was 7AM when I started going up on a sunny day (I was impressed there were already people descending...). Very nice hike, relatively easy - in 40 minutes I was up...More

Badger mountain is conveniently located in the Tri-cities area. The trails are maintained well. We hiked three different paths either going up or down. The shortest, and most steep trail is ~1.3 miles long (one-way). Good views of the area when you are at the...More

I recently relocated to the Richland area for work and decided to get my workout in hiking this trail system. It was a great experience. Trails are very well marked and very popular. There's even a section that has small reflectors so you can hike...More

We hiked this trail while visiting family during the Memorial Day weekend. We were fortunate that the weather was cool being in the mid 70s during our visit. Given our mid 70s age, we found the hike somewhat challenging. We question if we would have...More

This hike is really enjoyable. Just about 1.4 mile hike to the top. 2 trails so you can make a loop hike out of it. View of the Columbia snake and yakima rivers I gave it a easy rating. The is a elevation gain but...More

There are many different options for trails with two trail heads and two options from each. About an hour to the top and back if you are in moderate condition (like me). On a perfect day you will spot Mt Rainer far to the north!

There's not many challenging hikes in Tri-Cities and this will do. It's a well maintained community effort. This time of year there's a great variety of wildflowers in bloom. You will probably see rattle snakes on hot days. I suggest starting from the less crowded...More
