Great state park, sites are nice, guests are quiet and respectful, nice hiking trails with a water view. Just a short drive to downtown Pt Orchard with good restaurants and great antique shopping and even a farmers market. Makes for a great weekend.

I am almost reluctant to review this beautiful State Park for fear that increased popularity will undo this beautiful secret. The park is located close to Port Orchard, Washington and is tucked away in old growth forest right on Rich Passage which is between Puget...More

It's small, but it works as a spot to take the dog down for a quick walk, enjoy the smell of the water and look for any possible treasures the tide may have brought in.

The "Bricks" (Old Torpedo Storage Facility) is a great place to host a wedding. There are nice grassy areas to hold the ceremony and the facility has an odd old charm about it for the post nuptials dining and cake cutting ceremony. The views of...More

Picnic on the beach, camp or hike the trails. Bring your Discover Pass or pay $10 to visit for the day. There is a nice loop trail that is about 1 mile long. You hike near cliffs overlooking the sound (watch for poison oak), go...More

There are 49 camping/RV spots. It's very nice to walk through it. It's not really scenic. But drive along beach drive on the water very scenic!

There is water where you empty your holding tank. This is the water source during the winter season. Other than that there are water spigots at various spots in the campground area- one for every 4 camp spots.
