The Log Cabin Museum was built in 1914 by Allan Bartow for his wife Louise. The roses in front are from the roses planted by Louise.

Nice bit of local history. There are guides there who are very knowledgeable, ready to answer any questions. Good family experience.

Excellent way to look into the past of Kitsap County. The staff changes the exhibits frequently, so if you are a local, go often.

This is a must see in Port Orchard, WA, if you are interested in History. The Log Cabin is manned by friendly Volunteers who will give you a guided tour into the rooms with mannequins in historical dress preparing dishes in the kitchen, making beds...More
