Awesome views of the beach from just about all of the camp sites. Some of the sites have 30 amp electric.
When the tides go out you can walk about a half a mile out. Some people even build camp fires on the beach. When...More
This little state park is literally right on the beach and a short walk from shops in Pacific Beach. The day I was there the park was full of Rv's and camp trailers, and they were all celebrating some sort of kite event...there were kites,...More
Okay folks, this is hands down the best beach camping you will find in our state! We have been coming here for years. This is the only camping that is this CLOSE directly on the beach on the Pacific Ocean in our state. This is...More
You cannot get closer to the fantastic beach than here. But price is high for rubbish bathrooms. You have to pay 1$ for 6 min of shower, but get cold water only. Sites are very narrow and we had 6 peeps sleeping in a tent...More
Need a state park pass, but this is a great place to start a walk on the beach. Restrooms available, paved roads, and easy access. Spent the day here and had a good time. Lots of RVs camping in at the location.
This is a gorgeous, well-maintained park in the small town of Pacific Beach. The beach is huge and is easily accessible. A Discovery Pass us required and can be purchased online through the State of Washington. There is an adjacent RV park that also appears...More
We spent a few hours on this beach and ended up meandering up the riverbed to the south. Our toddlers were a little hesitant to get too close to the ocean so it was nice having the river nearby to throw rocks and play in.

Hi. Yes, it is open for camping year round! This is right from the web site: "The park is open year round for camping and day use. Reservations are accepted year round." Remember that it only has electricity as the hook-up. No sewer or water hook-ups but there is fresh water and a dump station on site. There are showers and restrooms as well that take tokens. We have not stayed there during the winter. We have stayed late March up until the end of August. We have been there during a pretty bad storm and they do shut off the beach front sites only when the conditions are very windy as the surf may come up to the berm and splash over into those water-front sites. We just had to move to a different site at that time which was on spring break. (my hubby is a school teacher) **Also, this is a VERY popular state park as it is the ONLY ONE right on the beach where you can walk onto the beach easily from the campground. So, you have to reserve 9 months in advance for the warm weather months as they book up super fast, especially for kite festival weekends. You will love it!!
