This is a place to wander. Don't worry about which trail or which way. So much to see and most of it is just happenstance. Loved the beach, winding my way through the grassy dunes, and finding the river. Weather can change fast. We had...More

It is just a park with pic nic tables and public restrooms. We could not find in marked trails or trail information at the park. You can wander on trails, but who knows where you will wind up. Walking one, we could see we were...More

We walked on the trail that began to the left of the picnic shelter. There were no signs the entire length we walked to indicate distance or actually how to get to the sand dunes. At one point, there was a piece of wood propped...More

You have to take the bridge over, but the beach is great. The bridge is off to the left from the road as you head toward the beach from the parking lot.

More like the east coast. The park is high grass that you have to traverse before getting to where the ocean is. Bring water to drink.

There is no crowded at this place. Is out of beaten path and you can find here solitude. It is not large and not developed so it feels very intimate here. Great view of the Pacific from the grassy dunes. At parking spot you have...More

The State Park is a little difficult to locate but it does have a large parking lot. The 'Trails' that lead to the beach really could use some extensive cleanup. Lots of trash and evidence of some dumping. The upper portion of the beach also...More

If you have visited any of the beaches along this stretch, this area is not much different: seagulls, dunes, kites. There is a kinda cool river/creek feeder to the ocean here, and you can walk an hour (or maybe more?) from here to Copalis Rocks...More
