The Lewis & Clark Interpretive Center offers a number of exhibits chronicling their journey. Downstairs there is a 15-minute film. There is a smaller area focusing on lighthouse and coast guard rescue technology

Spent a few hours in here, and could easily have spent the whole day. A huge amount to do and to take in, the whole expedition storyboarded and laid out in an interesting way. If you really wanted to take in everything, you could spend...More

The entire building is worth visting more than once. Serious exhibits for children and adults. Downstairs is best! Fee area is best part. Wonderful views from inside and out. The lighthouse is a bit of a walk. Feel like one of the expedition's members through...More

We enjoyed walking through the Interpretive Center. It is a lovely museum with good information about the Lewis & Clark Expedition. There are several of these along the L&C route, this being one of the best. The cost was minimal, well worth the walk up...More

To get here you have to hike a steep & unpaved trail in Cape Disappointment state park which requires $10 to enter. Then you have to pay more money to visit this place. I was able to use my National Parks Access Pass which is...More

I really didn't have much of an idea about the history of the Long Beach Peninsula and the fact that much of it was first accessed by Lewis and Clark, to whom this interpretive centre is dedicated. It was interesting and interactive and I learned...More

The L and C exibit packs a lot of information in a small space and is easy to walk through. It includes a short (20 minute) video presentation. The view of the ocean from the upper floor windows is spectacular!

The center is located on a cliff with spectacular views of Cape Disappointment within a state park (you must pay for parking). We barely knew anything about Lewis & Clark so we were looking forward to it. Personally, I thought some of the exhibits were...More
