Outside of Saturday market, the boardwalk is not worth a stop. as many mentioned many businesses are closed outside of the Salt Pub.

A few vacant buildings. Some boats in the marina. Really dead. Just keep driving to Long Beach and you will find shops, restaurants, etc.

We read that there was a market on Saturday at the boardwalk. The shops were closed, there was nothing to do outside of walking around and seeing the boats. We had lunch and wandered around on the pier for a bit. It was defiantly a...More

We enjoyed the market -- plenty of crafts, foods, and so on to see -- but the walkway would be as nice on an off day, just for the view of the harbor. Don't expect a fun-filled boardwalk with entertainment for all -- this is...More

Really quaint and quiet as we were there right before the season starts. Cute shops, restaurants and a really nice place to stroll.

This my first visit back to Ilwaco since the 1970s. While much has changed the boardwalk is basically the same. It is well maintained and has a number of unique sculptures or ocean art. It is right by the marina with beautiful scenery.

Visited all the towns on the coast in the area and Ilwaco by far has the neatest port around. It is small and has the small town feel. It is off season so not much is going on, but is nice to drive around and...More

If you go mid-week, it is really kind of dead besides the charters for fishing, and they are usually done by noon. But on Saturday - that is the ticket! It seems like a few more shops have closed up this year unfortunately.

We went to the Port of Ilwaco Boardwalk. The area has a marina, restaurants, fishing and boat charters, art galleries, some cafes and restaurants. One can also purchase fresh seafood. There is also some places to stay. Its a pretty area.
