I hadn’t been to Ilwaco for years. The boardwalk is a great place to stroll, with art galleries, restaurants and fresh seafood.

A great place to sit, have a cool drink and watch the people go by. The boats coming in and going out it was so peaceful!

A few vacant buildings. Some boats in the marina. Really dead. Just keep driving to Long Beach and you will find shops, restaurants, etc.

We enjoyed the market -- plenty of crafts, foods, and so on to see -- but the walkway would be as nice on an off day, just for the view of the harbor. Don't expect a fun-filled boardwalk with entertainment for all -- this is...More
