We hiked to the lighthouse! The trail is pretty even but steep! Great little workout to start our day! Beautiful views from up there! $10.00 for a day pass is not a bad price either!

If you are visiting the Long Beach Penisula, Cape Disappointment is a must stop for the views, the lighthouses, and the history of the area from Lewis & Clark to a long history of shipwrecks

It was in the 50's when we got there. It really didn't seem that cold and didn't stop us from getting out and doing things. There are nice walking trails and bike paths every where, two of which lead to the beautiful lighthouses; what beaches...More

So pretty! The short hike to the lighthouse was beautiful and quiet. I visited in late April and there were very few other people there. The visitor center was closed but we really enjoyed exploring the old abandoned World War 1 artillery center. Super interesting.

Worth a visit. But it is one of many many state parks in Washington and Oregon on the coast. If in the area and looking for a nice time outside, go!

Really lovely area...fabulous views from the north head lighthouse area. Good hiking/walking trails...might be muddy as this is a really rainy area. Lots of beautiful flowers...we also saw wildlife in the area...deer, bear cubs, bald eagles, seals and even a moose...all in a few square...More

Great visit to the state park. Breath taking views from the shoreline and cliffs. Hiking trails are muddy at this time of the year. They warn you, but its slippery.
