We stopped here while staying at the Hotel Roanoke to et some information and maps. The staff was cordial and professional. We were provided information and maps that helped us select restaurants and places to visit.

Didn't realize that the visitor center was also the site of the O. Winston Link Museum and restored Roanoke Norfolk & Western Railway Passenger Station. Awesome history as told to us by our tour guide.

Awesome little museum and visitors center. It is definetly worth the stop and they have some nice memorabilia and displays. This is a must stop before visiting.

The downtown of Roanoke is a piece of history. Beautiful buildings, antiques, old painted advertising on the building walls But quite expensive. Both restaurants and stores... a pity
