Very nice staff. <30 minutes to see all the art - nothing spectacular. A pleasant diversion. From the balcony I could see the Catholic church on the hill, the outside of the giant Tudor style Roanoke Hotel, and the star up on the mountain. I...More

Not where I would take my young kids again, but it is a neat place and is free. I am not so sure about the art design of the building. It is an odd fit for the Roanoke architecture. There is a new coffee shop...More

The Taubman has fabulous exhibits---some traveling, some permanent. Over the years I have seen the most interesting shows. I am looking forward to going again this Friday to see what's on exhibit after I take a journeling course through the museum.

I went with my family and my nephews absolutely loved the museum. They found the art and sculptures very interesting and loved the view from the balcony.

Thanks for your review -- just curious, can you share the name of the work or describe what it looks like? We pride ourselves on the quality and authenticity of our exhibitions, so we'd like to clear up any misconceptions. Thanks in advance!

This is an art museum with free admission and one in which you can see everything comfortably in an hour or two. The staff is friendly and helpful. If you're staying at the Hotel Roanoke, it's an easy walk there. We highly recommend the show...More

We didn’t know about this museum, but it was suggested to us by AAA. As an artist, I love to look at art and the items on display were awesome. We will definitely go back again when in the area.

There is on street parking, but it is limited. There are several parking garages near by along with lots of restaurants.
