More
Corcoran Brewing Company was founded in 2011 on the beautiful foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains in Waterford Virginia. This was the second business venture for Corcoran whom had been making award winning wines since 2004. Corcoran which is family owned and operated decided in 2011 to branch out into the hand crafted beer industry. Initially started in a barn on old farmland near Corcoran Vineyards, this combination became Virginia's first vineyard / brewery combo in the state. After several years of growing business it was realized that there was not enough room to stay as demand for the beer grew. In early 2014 the brewery was moved to Purcellville Virginia which is about 6 miles from where it started. Corcoran Brewing Company has produced over fifty distinct beers since opening day. We strive to create both traditional beer types as well as creating unique experiences with experimental beers. On any given day we have twelve beers on tap ranging from Kolch style, American Pale Ales, IPA's, Imperial IPA's, Stouts, Bourbon barrel aged, port barrel aged and more. This daily broad selection of quality hand-made craft beers has been a primary reason for our success. Customers can always find a beer that meets their drinking style.

I wasn't sure what to expect as this was my first time to a brewery. I was surprised it was in a building with other businesses as I have only been to wineries and expected it to be stand alone. I did not sample the...More

I've drunk beer all across the US, the UK, most of Europe, and bits in Asian and African countries, yet have never had beer as bad as what I tried to drink at Corcoran today. The English Amber was OK and the Zythos Double IPA...More

My wife and son met up with some friends and their kids on Saturday. Not much to look at on the inside and not enough seating, but their beer was phenomenal. The free popcorn also is a nice touch. Will definitely be back if in...More

Fresh popcorn and snacks available. Wide range of flavors and perfect tasting size. Offers growlers to-go. Super friendly and knowledgeable staff, helped us put together a gift pack for family.

Even though it is located outside of downtown Purcellville area, this brewery is worth the visit. The beers were very good with something for everyone's taste and the service was friendly. The Dutchmans Creek, a traditional German Hefeweizen was my favorite.

We had some difficulty finding the Corcoran since we rejected the notion that a brewery would be situated adjacent to a medical facility ...but this is the 21st century. To our taste, the beers were disappointing, not up to the expectations of the reputation. Our...More

My husband & I have been to Corcoran a few times (most recently, yesterday). I enjoyed the Wheatland which is an American Hefeweizen. We watched the Preakness on the big tv & had a good time, eating & drinking with friends.
