My wife and I picked peaches the owner told us which trees were ripe and which were not. The peaches were delicious not devoid of taste like they are at the store. Two weeks later we went back to pick blackberries they were great as...More
I can see how it isn't five stars. There are not enough signs to point you in the right direction while you wind around the road to the orchards. At one point, the road backs up to a townhouse complex. And most of the apples...More
We went to pick apples, and it was a long hike, over rocks and streams, not passable for strollers or small children, only to find over-picked trees and rotten fruit. I would definitely not go back there again.
We stopped by on October 16th and were advised by the gentleman handing out the buckets that the selection of apples was "slim". Let's just say this was an understatement. The trees were bare, the apples on the ground were rotting and even the ones...More
Great place to pick your own fruit in season (check the website or the sign out front). Buckets are provided, or you can take your own container and they'll weigh it before you pick. The cherries are fantastic and the yellow peaches are quite nice.

Crooked Run is a fantastic family run orchard in the heart of downtown Purcellville. They offer PYO fruit of all varieties, (peaches, plums, blackberries, strawberries, etc.) but my personal favorite are the apples! From Jonagold to Mutsu to Golden Delicious, they have it all.
