Wonderful place to meet with friends and have a picnic lunch.
Fabulous in good clear weather.
Plenty of park benches to sit on and plenty of space around them to place other picnic chairs around to share experiences.

Took a picnic and the grandkids and it was delightful. Plenty of places to sit in the sun and enjoy the views, but also lots of shady nooks. Gorgeous flower gardens and trees. Plenty of take away places nearby, if you want something other than your own picnic.

We are regulars at this beautiful park. Fantastic playground and coffee shop close by. Beautiful gardens and grassy areas for picnics too. Highly recommend.

You can tell it’s an old one by the huge trees and lots of flowers. Gets a lot of people sitting around enjoying it due to the convenient position near the station. The lawns aren’t in good shape though and the toilets were in rotten shape.

A lovely relaxing park, safe for the kids to play and great for others to sit and enjoy lunch and watch all that is happening

This is quite a spacious park with a nice rose garden in the middle. The air in the morning is particularly fresh and there's plenty of space for the little ones to run around. The fenced playground has equipment for toddlers as well as for bigger kids. There are a cafe conveniently across the road.

There's usually parking around the park and the playground. But if you can't find parking here, try the council car park behind Railway Avenue.

Wahroonga Park is a lovely spot to sit and have lunch with the family. Once a year they have a wine and food festival which is a must do.

Hi, I don't normally write reviews which are not positive, but I think perhaps this cafe needs to lift its game a little and this review might ring some alarm bells. When we went a few days before Christmas, there was a table of ten men outside waiting for a coffee As nobody came out to serve us, I went inside to see what was happening.. Inside there were three tables of customers who all looked as if they were waiting for their coffee/meal, but I could have been mistaken, they might have already been served but it didn't look like it.
There were three people waiting to give their orders to the lass at the till, there was NO-ONE making coffee and I couldn't see any other staff, though there were staff in the kitchen. The lass said she would come out to serve us, but in the end we left. I felt sorry for the table of ten guys who were looking pretty cheesed off when we left. I realise all cafes have bad days but this was a spectacular fail.

Again, a great opportunity to sample wines from different areas and foods from different countries.
Also stalls from various places selling their wares.
Most interesting time in a beautiful park and good weather.
Plenty of chairs and tables available for all to eat.
Families picnicked and set up rugs.
Dog owners brought their dogs - if they were leashed they were permitted!

Great fun day for all.
